OUR STORY
Two kids growing up in small Washington towns discovered love in the big city.
Tom grew up in Richland prior to moving to Seattle to attend the University of Washington and found a new place to call home. Settling in Madison Park, he makes the commute across Lake Washington to work in Kirkland. Tom took his time with his social life while he wondered if he would ever find the perfect match.
Lindsey grew up in Omak enjoying the country lifestyle with hay and horses. Her educational pursuits brought her to Seattle before she discovered her career in ultrasound. This urban cowgirl was enjoying a balance of work and play while still keeping an open heart incase her Prince Charming came into her life.
A cold, snowy night in Bellevue would change their lives forever. Set up on a blind date by mutual friends, Tom and Lindsey met for the first time. They never looked back. In the next six months, Tom had a wedding to go to in Maui and no date. Lindsey had a cruise planned with three other couples to Europe, but was going single. It turns out Lindsey was invited to Maui and Tom joined Lindsey to travel Europe. This was the foreshadowing for their own wedding and honeymoon to come. Spending time together was the new favorite pastime. It seemed so easy to be in each others presence, it was obvious their lives were meant to unite.
A winter vacation to New York City sealed the deal. During a late night horse carriage ride, Tom got down on one knee in the middle of Central Park to ask for Lindsey’s hand in marriage. She said “YES!” The first chapter of their lives together has been written.
They are living together in Madison Park with their little yorkie, Stella, while they plan their wedding. They look forward to having their family and friends from all over join them in September to share the celebration of starting their life together and husband and wife. The best chapters are yet to come!
