OUR STORY

Favorite Memory:

In our wedding day there were numerous moments that were amazing and that I will never forget. If I had to narrow it down to one moment, it would be difficult since the whole day was the best day of my life. LeAnn and I had been engaged for a year in a half; which is a long time to think about marrying your best friend. The best moment on our wedding day would have to be when I slid the ring on to LeAnn’s finger. Since the day I purposed, I couldn’t wait to add the next band to her finger and call her my wife! LeAnn is my best friend and I couldn’t wait to know that she was going to be by my side the rest of my life.

Everyone always says your wedding day will be the best day of your life. Well, they aren’t lying. I look back at all the excitement and emotions of our wedding day and I try to think about my favorite moment. How do I pick just one, the whole day was perfect?! Then I think about the moment that meant the most to me – walking down the aisle with my dad on my way to marry my best friend. The doors opened and I was surrounded by a room full of friends and family but my eyes were locked on Drew. I couldn’t wait to get to him, grab his hand and start our journey together as a married couple. Then my favorite moment happened. My parents handed me over to my best friend, my rock, my world – Drew. Every girl dreams of that moment and I still can’t put words to the feelings and emotions that happen during those couple of seconds. I knew my life was about to change forever and in the best way possible; I was about to become Mrs. Affholter. I am and forever will be the luckiest girl in the world.
