If your a photographer in Seattle, then I’m sure you’ve done this. You’ve sat on your phone looking at the weather app all day, hoping for the forecast to change when you know you have an epic engagement session planned. Before deciding to reschedule we finally saw a break from the rain and decided to […]
What an incredible fall engagement photo-shoot taken at The Arboretum during this fall season. The weather couldn’t have been more amazing and the couple even more adorable. Abbey and Austin, just moved here from Idaho and this was both their first time visiting the Arboretum, Madison Park and Volunteer Park.
After meeting up with Jenna & Omar at our first location in Discovery Park, we shortly realize we both lived in the same apartment building in Fremont. These two were so freaked adorable to work with!!! Jenna showed up with the cutest little white bow in her hair that fit perfectly with the rainforest background. We took the parking risk and parked near the lighthouse at the bottom of the trail. I swear overtime they keep add more and more “DO NOT PARK HERE” signs, lo1!!
This couple had a real vision to capture the essence of Washington’s beauty in their engagement photos. When they contacted me, they already knew all the locations they wanted to shoot. What they weren’t banking on was how perfect the weather would be that day. Luckily when they arrived in Seattle from Chicago the last week of April, it was 81 degrees! Our first stop of the morning was Pike Place Market and then we took a walk to Bell Harbor for a city and water view point, which they admitted in the time they lived in Seattle they had never been to.
This spring in Seattle has been one of the warmest I’ve seen in the five years I’ve lived here. I recently set off to photograph Alysha and Zack engagement session and the morning started with pouring rain. As usually I contacted them asking if they were looking to rescheduled which can be pretty common here in the PNW they responded, “nope rain or shine we are set.”
