After taking a few fun, classic and candid portraits, I drove them both to the Canlis Venue and in fact we were a little early. The Ceremony was intimate just as they wanted. The room was filled with a great group of long time friends and family. The night ended with a few more photos on the rooftop. As I was leaving, I saw the beautiful venue from a far, I quickly ran back up and asked if they would just stand in the middle of it. That last photo became their favorite and the one they told me they would be printing largely
Candi and Prabir contacted me after Candi admitted to looking for a photographer for over 2 years. You could image how excited and honored I felt that she picked me out of all the photographers she had been researching. She came to me after explaining that her dream wedding in Nepal didn’t produce the dream images she had imagine. She wanted a do-over including details, getting ready images and even getting the chance to wear the wedding dress she bought for her actual wedding that she never wore.
After meeting up with Jenna & Omar at our first location in Discovery Park, we shortly realize we both lived in the same apartment building in Fremont. These two were so freaked adorable to work with!!! Jenna showed up with the cutest little white bow in her hair that fit perfectly with the rainforest background. We took the parking risk and parked near the lighthouse at the bottom of the trail. I swear overtime they keep add more and more “DO NOT PARK HERE” signs, lo1!!
This couple had a real vision to capture the essence of Washington’s beauty in their engagement photos. When they contacted me, they already knew all the locations they wanted to shoot. What they weren’t banking on was how perfect the weather would be that day. Luckily when they arrived in Seattle from Chicago the last week of April, it was 81 degrees! Our first stop of the morning was Pike Place Market and then we took a walk to Bell Harbor for a city and water view point, which they admitted in the time they lived in Seattle they had never been to.
This spring in Seattle has been one of the warmest I’ve seen in the five years I’ve lived here. I recently set off to photograph Alysha and Zack engagement session and the morning started with pouring rain. As usually I contacted them asking if they were looking to rescheduled which can be pretty common here in the PNW they responded, “nope rain or shine we are set.”
