Novelty Hill Januik Wedding Photos | Zack + Alysha

It was Saturday, October 8th. The forecast was rain all day and boy, did it rain!

I met Alysha at Willows Lodge where she was surrounded by her girls, looking so relaxed. The weather forecast didn’t even faze her. It was as if she knew that no matter what, it would all work out, rain or shine. We planned for an indoor first look in a private room downstairs, away from all the wine-tasting visitors at Novelty Hill Winery.

The moment was breathtaking– all that mattered were these two joining hands for the very first time on their wedding day.

As we wrapped up family photos, we decided to venture upstairs. I planned indoor photos as back-up, in case of rain. Suddenly, I saw Alysha practically running outside as she realized that it had stopped raining! I quickly coordinated the whole wedding party to join us outdoors. We had about 20 minutes before the rain would start again.

It was time to make the final call: Would this be an outdoor or indoor ceremony?

They went for it. Rain or shine, they were getting married outside!
