Finding love at the Olympics

Can you believe that these two met at during a job at the Olympics in Rio De Janeiro? As they shared their story with me, Jen laughed while expressing how she had to make the first move. John laughed that he didn’t want to assume anything, although he was very attracted to her from the first moment. They spent three weeks together from day one, touring around Brazil, making excuses to see each other in between opposite shifts.

When the trip ended, they discovered they would both be in New York, and the dates around the world just continued. John told Jen that he had hired a photographer for a couple’s shoot in Seattle. After following me on Instagram, she knew that he would most likely be proposing at this photo shoot. She even prepared a speech and practiced getting her surprise face on lockdown. He went to go visit her in her hometown in Connecticut, and to her surprise, he decided to propose during that visit in front of all her family. He succeeded at completely surprising Jen.

Now proudly showing off her bling, these two decided on a Pike’s Place Market engagement photo-shoot to share the next big step. Jen showed up wearing a really cute red flare dress, and lucky for her the weather here in Seattle decided to shine. They danced, laughed and laughed even more as we ran around both Pike’s Place and Bell Harbor together.
