This spring in Seattle has been one of the warmest I’ve seen in the five years I’ve lived here. I recently set off to photograph Alysha and Zack engagement session and the morning started with pouring rain. As usually I contacted them asking if they were looking to rescheduled which can be pretty common here in the PNW they responded, “nope rain or shine we are set.” To my surprise as soon as I showed up to the first location in Volunteer Park, the sun was out peaking through some amazing clouds. 

As we reached our second location at Gasworks Park in Seattle, the started to drizzle down again. My thoughts, “Finally we can put some good use to the prop umbrella they brought.” The night ended with one incredible images where I used a side light and one behind the umbrella to really showcase the amazing weather and view we had.
