OUR STORY

He is the most amazing and thoughtful man ever. We have mutual love, and respect for each other. We also push each other to be our best individual selves. Our children are both of our greatest joy, and together raising three boys- we laugh A LOT! Love, laughter, trust and our faith are truly  the reason we work perfectly. We compliment each other in our strengths and weaknesses and are each others best friend. We are soul mates!

It was the most amazing proposal ever! He started that magical day by telling me we were going on a date night, with clues around the house leading to beautiful boxes with a dress, shoes and jewelry to wear for the evening. Each had a handmade, hand stamped card with a little love note and clue to the next box!

He had a driver pick us up that night and we toured the wooden boat museum in Seattle, followed by photos at a park in Queen Anne, then off to a private dinner for two at Canalis restaurant. Our table was decorated with roses and candles and had a gorgeous look-out over the water.

Once seated, the Manager of Canlis came and brought us on the rooftop telling me since we had the ‘special room for two,’ that allowed us on the roof! When we got up there, I saw a telescope, perfectly placed with a view of Gas Works Park. When I looked in it, our three boys were holding up “Will you marry us” signs sitting at gasworks that I could see through the telescope!

When I turned around he was down on one knee and asked me to be his wife. Simply the most beautiful and touching proposal! Best part is we had a friend photographing the entire proposal! ( I had no idea!!!!)
